Aruba Skateboarding Federation always puts safety first.
HELMET GUIDELINES
Check the safety sticker inside the helmet and make sure it’s an approved helmet.
No cracks, dents or damage.
Pads should touch cheeks and forehead. Back of helmet should touch nape of neck.
One finger should fit under the chin strap. Helmet should be snug and comfortable.
Helmet side straps should form a V-shape around each ear.
Helmet should sit two fingers above the eyebrow.
No hats, except for a liner or thin shell.
No high ponytail.
CODE OF CONDUCT AND PARK ETIQUETTE
No snaking (cutting in front of people).
Take turns and expect others to do the same.
Be confident, not aggressive, and be polite.
Be respectful at all times.
Skate with equipment and do tricks you know.
Build up to new tricks and equipment slowly.
If you fall and can move comfortably, move out of the way of other skaters.
If not, wait or ask for help immediately of staff on site.
Seek care immediately if you are hurt.
Wear a protective helmet and wear it properly.
